Known for being a pioneer of global fusion and electronic music, Karsh Kale’s work has inspired the underground club scene and festivals worldwide. Perceived as Karsh’s most ambitious album to date, Cinema’s sound has had much impact from the process of scoring films which gives this album a palette of progressive electro-rock and various fusion influences. “Cinema” is the aggregate of diverse inspirations, experiences and musical expressions within one cohesive vision.

With Cinema, Karsh’s sources of inspiration have expanded – from Indian classical, to electronica, to rock and now to music for film. By challenging himself to write songs with an ear for Western modalities, Karsh further pushes if not blurs the boundaries of rock, world and electronic music creating something progressively unique.
